Overview
The Indiana State Fair is always a hit! The 2026 theme is Batter Up, Indiana.
The Indiana State Fair is held for 17 days each summer, yet it lives for generations in the memories of families who experience it together. Over 750,000 people visit the Indiana State Fair each year for family fun, carnival rides and games, barnyard animals, 4-H competitions, goat yoga, Indiana's Court open daily for free play, the expanded Big Top Circus, wiffle ball, Break A Boyz, tortoise feeding, fabulous fair food, and the Indiana Beer Wine & Spirits expo.
Be sure to take a ride on the new State Fair Train. All aboard for a breezy, narrated one-mile right around the north side of the fairgrounds. It's $5 for a roundtrip ride.
New this year is Bourbon & Baseball, an adults-only tasting and fundraising experience in the Grand Hall on July 31. Also new is the REWIND: A VHS Revival exhibit. Step into a nostalgic world with this tribute to movie poster art from the 1980s through early 2000s.
