Downtown Indy, Inc. and Big Car Collaborative: June-November

Whether you're looking to relax in the shade, challenge friends to a game of ping pong, or immerse yourself in local art and live music, SPARK on the Circle offers a welcoming, energetic escape in the city's most iconic location. In 2025, SPARK will take over the brick streets between the monument and the sidewalk on the northwest quadrant of Monument Circle, stretching between Market Street and North Meridian.

SPARK on the Circle is brought to life through a dynamic partnership between Big Car Collaborative, Downtown Indy, the City of Indianapolis Department of Metropolitan Development, the Capital Improvement Board, and the Indiana War Memorials Commission.

SPARK transforms Monument Circle into a lively, art-filled park that offers a welcoming space for everyone. Enjoy shaded seating, free games like ping pong and chess, a cafe serving delicious food and drinks, and various art experiences. Special features include live, local music and a public art project led by Big Car Collaborative.

When to Visit SPARK On The Circle

Visit SPARK on the Circle from 11 a.m. until dusk every day from June to November, with special evening hours coming in 2025.
