Fourth of July

Whether you're a Circle City local or looking for a fun, new way to experience the Fourth, Indy has everything you need for a spark-tacular Independence Day. We've laid out some of the best ways to enjoy your Fourth of July weekend. All you have to do is make sure you're wearing your red, white, and blue and are ready for a good time.

BEST PLACES TO SEE THE SKY LIGHT UP

Central Indiana residents and visitors will be able to enjoy a massive firework display once again in the heart of downtown Indianapolis this Independence Day. Launched from atop the 500 North Meridian office building, the show will be synced to popular patriotic. Come early for food trucks, live entertainment from Toy Factory, and Pavel & Direct Contact, and more. The best place to catch the action? The grounds of the Indiana War Memorial

What's more American than fireworks at the ballpark? On July 4, the Indianapolis Indians square off against the Memphis Redbirds - all in a patriotic spirit. Then, catch the epic fireworks display after the game. Even if you can't catch the Indianapolis Indians game at 6:35 pm, you can still snag a spot in White River State Park to see this first spectacular fireworks display. Fireworks begin after the game.

This patriotic concert series from the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra is a four-day event, including the Fourth of July. Bring a blanket for a spot on the lawn, or reserve a table to experience the music. Either way, you'll be serenaded by the energetic performances and humbled by the stupendous fireworks display.

STARTING THE DAY OFF RIGHT

There's a lot of action to be had before the much-awaited fireworks. Take advantage of the entire holiday with a few of these daytime activities.
