Indianapolis Top Ten Family Fun

In honor of one of Indy's most famous natives, a David Letterman-esque guide to ten family-favorite activities.

Here is your list of the Top Ten places for families to have fun and bond while visiting Indy.

As America's only cultural urban state park, White River State Park (WRSP, to its friends) offers a unique blend of green space (Military Park, the Central Canal, White River itself) and cultural attractions in the heart of downtown Indy.

From a dolphin in-water program to a shark touch tank, from racing cheetahs to painting with elephants, the Zoo is an interactive jewel for families.

Offering classes in woodworking, ceramics, painting, and other mediums, families can learn art techniques while taking home something fun. The ARTSPARK offers 12 acres of outdoor interactive artwork including the Crooked Little House.

Ride a helium-filled, tethered balloon, pet adorable animals, and travel back to the 1800s at this interactive history park.

Located in scenic Eagle Creek Park, Go Ape is a unique adventure in the forest canopy for all ages. The course includes rope ladders, net bridges, trapezes, Tarzan swings, and five zip lines.
