The Indy Eleven is a United Soccer League (USL) club that plays home games at IU Michael A. Carroll Track & Soccer Stadium on the campus of IUPUI adjacent to downtown’s White River State Park. Plans are currently underway to construct a new stadium near Lucas Oil Stadium and the Indiana Convention Center.
Why Eleven? The name pays homage to the 11th Indiana Volunteer Infantry Regiment commanded by Lew Wallace as part of the Union Army during the Civil War.
Indy Eleven Games at Carroll Stadium
One of the defining characteristics of Indy Eleven matches is the spirit of the Brickyard Battalion, the club’s official support group that leads chants and revelry from the west grandstands to cheer on the “Boys in Blue.”
The Eleven play a 34-game schedule with half of those at home. Carroll Stadium has 12,111 seats. The Heineken Party Deck is also available for entertaining.
