It's officially the Month of May, which means the Circle City will soon see an abundance of black and white checkered flags and new artwork celebrating all things racing, all leading up to the 107th Running of the Indianapolis 500.
And with all the excitement comes the return of a unique opportunity for local #LoveIndy artists to share their interpretations of the race and how the city comes to together to celebrate. Beginning in 2016, Indy Arts Council partnered with Indianapolis Motor Speedway began commissioning artists to create their own designs to "Welcome Race Fans." We invite you to peruse the five official posters designed for this year's race.
If you are interested in purchasing any of the original artworks, please email artistservices@indyarts.org.
