As a sports fan, you dream of a week like the one that lies ahead in Indianapolis. There is so much to cheer about, it’s a challenge to focus on where to exert your energy as an Indy sports fan. Let’s set the table for what this epic schedule of sporting events has in store. Below is a rundown of the events happening in Indy over the next two weeks:

  • Monday, May 20: Connecticut Sun vs. Indiana Fever
  • Friday, May 24: Miller Lite Carb Day
  • Saturday, May 25: Boston Celtics vs. Indiana Pacers
  • Sunday, May 26: 108th Running of the Indianapolis 500
  • Monday, May 27: Boston Celtics vs. Indiana Pacers
  • Monday, May 27: Omaha Storm Chasers vs. Indianapolis Indians
  • Tuesday, May 28: Los Angeles Sparks vs. Indiana Fever
  • Thursday, May 30: Seattle Storm vs. Indiana Fever
  • Friday, May 31: Boston Celtics vs. Indiana Pacers (if necessary)
  • Saturday, June 1: Chicago Sky vs. Indiana Fever

Holy smokes. It is late May, the sun is shining, and the electricity in this city is off the charts. While the Indy 500 owns the month of May, it sure is exciting to have a year when the Pacers make a playoff run and these two city icons collide. The perfect staggering of Carb Day on Friday, playoffs on Saturday, race on Sunday, and playoffs on Monday is going to make for a Memorial Day weekend unlike anything we’ve experienced.

As if that isn’t enough, Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever have captured the imagination of the basketball universe as this young team begins to build into a WNBA contender. The Fever play four home games over the next two weeks.

Still not satisfied? How about soaking up some baseball at one of the best minor league parks in the country?

There are a LOT of reasons to cheer this May in Indy! Pace yourself.
