Indianapolis as a golf destination? Believe it.
Four holes of this Pete Dye-redesigned masterpiece are located in the infield of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, making for a one-of-a-kind, iconic Indy golf experience. The century-old track provides a unique yet beautiful home for an exciting round of golf, complete with Dye’s infamous railroad ties and creek banks lined with concrete from the race track’s former walls. Rolling hills and a picturesque setting on the edge of 1,700-acre Fort Benjamin Harrison State Park create a breathtaking Pete Dye design with tree-lined fairways, undulating greens, and elevation changes surprising for Central Indiana. Once a U.S. Army post named after Indiana’s only President, the former military base was converted into a state park and nature reserve in 1995, and the course opened in 1997. National golf publications consistently rank this course among the best in the state.
