Overview

French flair meets classical elegance as Jun Märkl leads Poulenc’s witty ballet suite from Les Biches and Haydn’s delightful Sinfonia concertante, featuring four ISO musicians as soloists. Continuing the season’s look at music from the Ballet Russes, Maestro Märkl unleashes Stravinsky’s dazzling, kaleidoscopic Petrushka to close the program.

This concert is endowed by the Eugene B. Hibbs Fund.
