Overview

Indian tabla virtuoso Zakir Hussain was scheduled to perform at Allied Solutions Center for the fourth time in 2024 before passing away at age 73. Sitar maestro and composer Niladri Kumaar frequently collaborated with Hussain, and the two Indian music legends were profiled in a 2017 documentary, The Space Between the Notes. Under that same title, Kumaar is releasing a live album from his only recorded concert with Hussain and leading an ensemble with keyboards, drums and tabla on a tour paying tribute to his late friend.
