On Saturday, August 29th, DO NOT MISS The Mousetrap debut of Dear Rosie with Sunny Side Down!
Dear Rosie is the brainchild of guitarist/singer/songwriter Max Heyob (formerly of Pushing Daisy’s Band), along with PDB bandmate Mark Stinnett on bass, and they are joined by former Stardust Social Club members Adam Richardson on guitar and drummer Nathan Wiencken. Dear Rosie is a pure rock super-group with a strong focus on high-caliber, narrative songwriting. While the band can and will jam, the core focus of Dear Rosie stays on well-crafted original songs.
They will be joined by Indy heavy-hitters Sunny Side Down kicking off the night proper! Sunny Side Down is a powerful four-piece from Indianapolis that features Tyler Schuttler on guitar, keyboardist Ethan Rupert (formerly of Pushing Daisy’s Band), Morgan Evans on Drums and Brian Dougherty on Bass.
Formed in 2023, the band blends jam, psych, and progressive rock to build raucous walls of sound. They have quickly developed a unique catalog of original music that balances tightly written, instrumental passages with soaring, high-energy improvisation. Audiences can expect an adventurous set from Sunny Side Down alongside the occasional gem of a jam taking the music to new heights!
