Overview
Dan Layus brings his rich orchestral arrangements of Augustana classics, including “Boston” and “Sweet and Low,” to the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra alongside the world premiere of his first symphony, a four-movement work drawing inspiration from Rachmaninoff to Copland. Experience an evening where the Romantic era meets a modern American voice and a songwriter’s vision meets the full power of a symphony.
