Indianapolis Propylaeum

Overview

The Indianapolis Propylaeum offers a distinctive and elegant setting for private events, housed in a beautifully preserved 1890s mansion in the heart of the Old Northside. Our historic venue features a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces ideal for weddings, showers, luncheons, meetings, and special celebrations.

Located in downtown Indianapolis, our historic venue offers classic charm and 45 complimentary parking spots for your guests. We welcome groups from 10 to 120 and offer flexible rental options for both daytime and evening events.

All private event rentals include:

Access to a variety of unique indoor rooms and outdoor spaces

Event planning consultation Full setup and teardown of tables and chairs

On-site Venue Coordinator during your rental

Optional bar service and custom bar packages

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, all rental proceeds help support our mission to uplift women through leadership, arts, culture, and historic preservation.
