This renovated 1924 factory warehouse, features a family dining room, a bar room, a courtyard and a private dining room. With two beautiful, character-rich private dining spaces—the Rosewater Room and Second Story—Bluebeard is a perfect setting for family gatherings, corporate meetings, wedding rehearsals, and more. Bluebeard is a restaurant and bar located in the historic Holy Rosary neighborhood on the southeast edge of downtown Indianapolis. The menu offers contemporary American cuisine featuring the best local produce and meat that our farms have to offer.
Former Chef Abbi Merriss was named a James Beard semifinalist 2016-2020, and 2023. Current Executive Chef Alan Sternberg was a semifinalist for Rising Star Chef of the Year in 2016 and 2018. Bluebeard was a semifinalist for Best New Restaurant in 2013 and is a James Beard finalist for Outstanding Hospitality in 2025.
