For their fifth anniversary season, the NBA 2K League will return for in-person events in the newly minted NBA 2K League Studio at The Pavilion at Pan Am, the first in a summer-long series of events beginning this Wednesday. This incredible studio’s innovative design features two circular competition stages to allow for simultaneous in-person games that allow the broadcast to switch between games in real-time to capture the most exciting action. And you can be a part of the action.
The eSports industry is among the fastest-growing sports empires in the world and is innovating new ways to experience sports. The NBA 2K League adds an extra layer to this innovation, as they are the first eSports league operated by a U.S. professional sports league and have teams associated with many of your favorite NBA teams. Once you’re there, you’ll join hundreds of spectators to see intense action as the stakes have never been higher in the NBA 2K League. This season, teams will compete for a $2.5 million bonus prize pool, meaning every time you see the teams here in Indy, they’ll be playing for big money.
In addition to the return to in-person events, new this season will be an opportunity to participate alongside NBA 2K League teams for a share of the 3v3 tournament prize pool. This gets the more the 2 million players who play NBA 2K every day more involved than ever before.
