Overview

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Indianapolis presents the 31 Days of Halloween, featuring movies nightly with the return of The Spookeasy. The film series brings classic monster movies, psychological thrillers, horror comedies and contemporary horror to the big screen during October. The lineup ranges from “Frankenstein” (1931) to “Pearl” (2022) and “Halloween” on October 31.

The Spookeasy adds themed decor and specialty cocktails to the cinema’s Halloween programming. Last year’s installations transformed spaces inside the cinema into rooms inspired by films including “Saw,” “The Silence of the Lambs” and “Candyman.” The rooms incorporated sound, scent and visual effects, accompanied by a themed cocktail menu.

The Spookeasy opens Tuesday, October 20, following the cinema’s screenings for the 35th annual Heartland Film Festival. It runs through Saturday, October 31, during normal business hours.

Guests younger than 21 are welcome to view The Spookeasy’s decor. Alcoholic cocktails are available only to guests 21 and older.
