Overview
Experience. Explore. Enjoy.
Summer is in full swing, and Love, Broad Ripple is inviting the community to experience one of Indianapolis ' favorite summer destinations as the Village comes alive with live music, local art, shopping, dining, and seasonal experiences that showcase everything residents love about summer in the neighborhood.
Designed to celebrate the energy and charm of Broad Ripple during the warmest months of the year, July 's Third Thursday will highlight refreshing summer treats, seasonal specials, and unique experiences offered by local businesses throughout the Village. Visitors can stroll the Monon Trail, explore local shops, discover outdoor dining options, enjoy live entertainment, and connect with neighbors while supporting local businesses. Broad Ripple has long been recognized as one of Indianapolis ' most vibrant and eclectic neighborhoods, known for its independent businesses, arts scene, restaurants, and walkable village atmosphere. This month’s event will also feature a free Walk Ruck Run + Summer Cookout Social where residents can join in a 1-hour walk, ruck, or run in the heart of the Broad Ripple Village and enjoy a summer cookout social afterwards in Broad Ripple Park.
Throughout the evening, participating businesses will offer special promotions, seasonal menu items, pop-up experiences, and activities designed to encourage visitors to explore the neighborhood. This month's celebration also features a size- and gender-inclusive Satellite Vintage Clothing Swap.
The Corner Lot Market at Winthrop Avenue and Westfield Boulevard will once again transform into a vibrant community gathering space featuring approximately 15 local artists and makers showcasing handcrafted artwork, jewelry, textiles, home goods, and more. Visitors are encouraged to shop local, meet the artists behind the work, and discover one-of-a-kind pieces created right here in Central Indiana.
Adding to the experience, Indianapolis muralist Megan Jefferson will lead a collaborative community art activation, inviting visitors of all ages to help paint a 4-by-8-foot floral paint-by-number mural on a Dibond panel. Inspired by Megan 's signature floral style, the completed mural will become a permanent public artwork displayed in Broad Ripple Village, allowing community members to leave their mark on a lasting piece of neighborhood art.
Support local merchants and artists every third Thursday from May-October in Broad Ripple Village.
