Overview
Multi-platinum rock band Simple Plan have announced the next chapter of their massively successful U.S. headline run with the “Bigger Than You Think! Tour – The Sequel!,” returning to the road this summer following an unforgettable first leg. The “Bigger Than You Think! Tour – The Sequel!” continues Simple Plan’s 25th-anniversary celebrations with the kind of all-gas-no-brakes live show that has cemented the band as one of pop punk’s most beloved acts for more than two decades. Delivering a career-defining setlist including hits like I’m Just a Kid, Welcome to My Life, Summer Paradise and many more, the Live Nation produced tour will kick off July 24 in Las Vegas with special guests Bowling For Soup and 3OH!3 on all dates, making for a stacked lineup celebrating some of the most iconic and enduring artists of the pop-punk era.
For more than two decades, SIMPLE PLAN has been one of the most culturally and commercially successful bands in rock. Their multi-platinum 2002 debut album, No Pads, No Helmets… Just Balls bore the smash singles “I’d Do Anything,” “I’m Just A Kid,” “Addicted” and “Perfect,” while subsequent hits “Welcome To My Life,” “Summer Paradise,” “Untitled (How Could This Happen To Me?),” “Shut Up!” and “What’s New Scooby-Doo?” have cemented their legacy as pop-punk legends. In all, the Montreal-formed quartet has sold over 10 million albums worldwide, captivated the main stages of the Vans Warped Tour and When We Were Young, performed at the 2010 Winter Olympics and with the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, sold out shows around the world and raised more than $3 million through the Simple Plan Foundation. Last year, they celebrated their landmark 25th anniversary with their biggest year yet, anchored by a career-spanning documentary on Amazon Prime Video, worldwide amphitheater and arena tours with Avril Lavigne and The Offspring and their most ambitious headlining trek in 20 years, the Bigger Than You Think! tour.
Bowling For Soup have spent the last 30 years proving they’re one of the most fun, engaging, and downright entertaining live bands in pop punk. Formed in Wichita Falls, TX, in 1994 and later relocating to Denton, BFS built their career on infectious anthems like “Girl All The Bad Guys Want,” “1985,” and “High School Never Ends,” along with theme songs for Jimmy Neutron and Phineas and Ferb. Their mix of massive singalongs, off-the-cuff comedy, and undeniable energy has made them a fan favorite across multiple generations, with parents now bringing their kids to join the party. Even after three decades, BFS show no signs of slowing down.
3OH!3 continue to tour all over the world, and HELL YES, they will still play all your favorite hits off of their first album WANT so your “middle school self” can truly live. They've played shows on every continent except for Antarctica (too cold). 3OH!3 are still hard at work writing and producing music. Their recent releases include the singles "Lonely Machines feat 100 Gecs" and "I'm So Sad" off their album NEED. Nat and Sean also write and produce songs for other artists including Maroon 5, BTS and Kesha.
