Overview
Scattrbrain is the full-band alter ego of Atlanta-based artist GRIP, theacclaimed rapper and songwriter known for his gritty lyricism, sharp socialcommentary and raw emotional depth. Emerging from Atlanta’s hip-hopunderground and once signed to Eminem’s Shady Records, GRIP built areputation as one of the city’s most introspective emcees before disruptinggenre lines entirely with Scattrbrain.
Channeling post-punk, grunge, hardcore and DIY energy through GRIP’ssingular perspective as a storyteller, Scattrbrain is loud, cathartic anddeliberately difficult to categorize. The project’s debut album, Scattrbrain &The Unwavering Self Doubt, confronts burnout, identity, addiction, industrydisillusionment and self-doubt with distortion, live drums and an uninhibitedvocal approach.
Having sold out their first headline home show, they have shared stages withEcca Vandal, Portugal The Man, and Manchester Orchestra. Scattrbrainbrings that same raw energy to a full-band live show built for chaos andcatharsis.
