Indy Dance Festival
Overview
The Indy Dance Council is excited to announce the return of the Indy Dance Festival for its fourth year, featuring two unique performances at the Tobias Theatre at Newfields including:
- Saturday, July 18 (7 pm): Saraswati School of Dance (youth opener); Dance Kaleidoscope; Eduardo Zambrana / EZO Dance Works (visiting performers); Elizabeth Shea Dance; Action League (Ball State); Crossroads Dance Indy; The Indy Project; Laura Hendrickson; Flourish; KC Phree; Baba Stafford & Company; 31SVN Crew.
- Sunday, July 19 (6 pm): ADA/Dance Abilities (youth opener); Indianapolis Ballet; Seda Negra/Black Silk Dance Company; Pulse Dance Theater; Ballet INitiative; Nell Ritchey & Picabo Saunders; ANDANCESTUDIO; Relevations Dance Theatre; Will Brighton & CJ Burroughs (visiting performers); 7 to Smoke street dance battle.

Masterclasses July 18 and 19 are open to dancers of all levels aged 13+, including pre-professionals, professionals, serious students, and anyone that wants to engage in the art of movement, in styles such as: Ballet, Contemporary, Open Style Choreography, Bachata Fusion Footwork; Improv; Countertechnique; Intro to Breakin; House; Limón Modern; Sandunga; Tap Technique & Combo; West African Dance & Rhythm.

Free community classes occur July 12-19 and are open to all ages, including: Adaptive Dance with Artmix; ChoreoBlitz Kids; Stepping Out: Musical Theater Dance for 60+; Yoga for Dancers.
Community Dance Party and 7 to Smoke Prelims are July 12 at 7p m at Bicentennial Plaza, preceded by a performance by Relevations Dance Theater.
