The Indy Classic is Indiana Sports Corp’s annual men's college basketball showcase, bringing high-energy competition and top-25 matchups. It celebrates Indiana’s deep love of the game while supporting programs that create real opportunities across our community.
The 2026 Indy Classic features two compelling non-conference matchups with Butler taking on Georgia Tech, while Purdue will face Colorado. Butler and Georgia Tech will meet for the first time in program history, while Purdue enters the event following an Elite Eight appearance during the 2025-26 season. Colorado returns to Gainbridge Fieldhouse for the first time since advancing to the second round of the 2024 NCAA Tournament, setting the stage for another memorable day of college basketball.
The Indy Classic is built around a men’s college basketball doubleheader that brings nationally recognized teams to the heart of downtown. It delivers a true gameday atmosphere with competitive play, loyal fan bases, and storylines that make the afternoon electric from start to finish.
