Sun King Brewing announced a partnership with The Sports Bra Indianapolis for WNBA All-Star Weekend to benefit the Marvella Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to uplifting young female athletes.

The Sports Bra Indianapolis team will host an exclusive merch pop-up shop on the patio at Sun King Downtown Indianapolis, giving fans early access to merchandise ahead of its highly anticipated Indy location opening.

During All-Star Weekend, Sun King Brewing will donate $1 from every pint sold at the Indy taproom, and The Sports Bra Indianapolis will donate 1% of all merch sales from the pop-up to the Marvella Foundation.

“Community and collaboration are at the heart of what we do,” said Sun King Brewing Marketing and Communications Director April Fetz. “This new partnership is a powerful way to celebrate women in sports and give back to an organization that’s changing lives and creating opportunities.”

Funds will support the Marvella Foundation’s mission to inspire young girls through sports education, leadership development, and community engagement.

Initiatives include Marvella Mobile, which brings sports experiences and education directly to underserved communities, and Nancy’s Dream, a scholarship program helping girls from low-income, veteran and single-parent households attend the Girls Sports Leadership Experience, a program that blends elite athletic training with wellness, mental health and leadership development.

The pop-up shop is part of Sun King’s WNBA All-Star Weekend celebration, which includes the brewery being a “WNBA All-Star Weekend hot spot” and basketball-themed drink specials, including the Jump Ball, which mixes the Pachanga Mexican-style lager with a Hotel Tango Orangecello shot.

“Let’s raise a pint for purpose and celebrate the power of women, community, beer and basketball,” said Fetz.
