This is the best summer to be a basketball fan in Indy! From 17 baskets set to various heights to the story of Crispus Attucks High School's state championship runs, it's all part of our five floors of indoor fun and 7.5 acres of outdoor sports.
Shoot for the stars in space
Have an out-of-this-world day with NASA at The Children's Museum:
- Talk with experts from NASA and take a selfie with Eva, the astronaut mascot
- Use an interactive kiosk which shows spacesuit technology “Try” on an astronaut suit, “explore” a Mars Habitat, or “work” on the International Space Station with virtual reality demonstrations
- Experience the Orion Spaceflight Simulator and learn about upcoming Artemis missions
The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis’ iconic outdoor bursting dinosaurs are also prepared for WNBA All-Star weekend in Indy! Be sure to visit the corner of 30th and Meridian Streets to see the dinos in their WNBA All-Star themed dinosaur decor.
