Overview
Stomping Ground, owned and operated by Martha Latta, is a local gift boutique, florist, and small-scale and seasonal garden center focusing on gifts, fresh florals, houseplants, annuals and native plants.
Located in Windsor Park on the Near East Side of Indianapolis, the shop opened in a rehabbed cozy cottage-style home in February 2021. The boutique gift store is within walking distance of Bottleworks and the east end of Mass Ave. Visitors can shop a wide variety of handcrafted items and products created by women owned, minority owned, and LGBTQ owned businesses.
Stomping Ground offers a relaxed and comfortable shopping experience just a few blocks away from the hustle and bustle of downtown shops. Fresh flower bouquets, houseplants, bath and body items, candles, books, greeting cards, puzzles, toys, postcards, stickers, tee shirts, jewelry, seeds, gardening supplies, and outdoor plants such as annuals and natives (April-October) can all be found here.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff are able to assist in selecting the best houseplants, annuals and natives for your home and garden. On Saturdays during spring and fall Stomping Ground also provides services such as creating corporate gift baskets, small event floral arrangements, and custom gifts for non-profit boards or volunteers.
Stomping Ground has a free parking lot in the rear as well as free street parking around the shop and is a five-minute walk from the closest Indy Go bus stop (take the 10E to Newman Street and walk two short blocks north).
