Overview
The Madam Walker Legacy Center debuted a new downtown mural in her honor. Displayed at the corner of Senate and Indiana Avenues. The piece showcases Madam Walker and imagery of her hair product business against a vivid green background.
The mural was painted by Indianapolis-based artist Tasha Beckwith. Beckwith also created a larger version of the same mural for the Indianapolis International Airport.
