Experience the World of Motorsports like never before! Visitors will see 40,000 square feet of additional, immersive exhibit space.

The reimagined Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum has reopened to the public.

With a general admission ticket, visitors will have full access to all exhibits and display areas of the Museum – 40,000 square feet of additional space – including the lower level, an area previously restricted to only select tours, and the newly added mezzanine featuring artifacts on view for the first time.

“The Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum is excited to welcome guests back to our reimagined space when we reopen in April,” IMS Museum President Joe Hale said. “Guests will not only enjoy visiting some of their favorite objects but will be able to explore significantly more exhibit space and have fun testing their skills in our immersive Qualifying Zone.”

General Admission Pricing:

• Adults: $25
• Seniors (55+): $23
• Veterans: $18, a new ticket offering
• Youth (ages 5-16): $18
• Children 5 years and under continue are admitted free

In addition to visiting the museum, guests can take exclusive, behind-the-scenes tours to get backstage access to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and its legendary landmarks.

While walk-in tour purchases are welcome, reservations are highly recommended. Tour schedules are subject to change without notice due to weather or track activity.

While every effort is made to update the schedules in real-time and notify reservation holders of any changes, unfortunately, Track Tours depend on track availability and can be affected by last-minute schedule changes. Track Tours still run in the rain, but severe weather may also result in tour cancellations. Guests are encouraged to call or email before their visit to confirm availability and reserve their tour on the schedule.

Kiss the Bricks Tour

Have you ever wanted to take a lap around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway? Now’s your chance! Our “Kiss the Bricks” tour is a narrated, 30-minute bus tour that features one lap around the famous 2.5-mile oval with a stop at the start finish line and the historic yard of bricks. Since 1996, race-winning drivers have celebrated their victory by kissing the bricks. Now, you can experience this tradition for yourself.

Victory Podium Tour

Offered on days when the track is in use, our 30-minute “Victory Podium” tour shows you what the winner sees on Race Day. The tour features a trip through the Garage Area and famed "Gasoline Alley" with a final stop at the top of Victory Podium—where the Indianapolis 500 winner celebrates their triumph with the customary bottle of milk..

Golf Cart Tour

The Golf Cart Tour is our most in-depth and intimate tour of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway grounds, showcasing restricted backstage areas, the 2.5-mile oval, and all major IMS landmarks. This 90-minute driving tour is a uniquely personalized experience, featuring one-on-one conversation with our most knowledgeable tour guides. Please note that the Speedway is an active racetrack and availability of the oval, and “Yard of Bricks” is not guaranteed on the tour..

Guests will also receive a VIP lanyard, and complementary bottles of water.
