Overview
This 80-piece adult concert band comprises professional musicians, music educators, and other serious avocational musicians who work in a variety of other professions. Every year, the group adds to its list of American and world premieres of compositions while showcasing the musical talent of native Hoosiers and nationally renowned soloists and composers. The Indiana Wind Symphony is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization with the mission to present artistic performances of significant music for band and wind ensemble to the central Indiana community.
