Plan a Bloom-Filled Day at the Indiana Peony Festival
Every May, downtown Noblesville comes alive with pink petals, spring energy, and picture-perfect blooms as the free Indiana Peony Festival celebrates Indiana’s beloved state flower. The 6th Annual Indiana Peony Festival returns Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Historic Seminary Park, with peony-inspired events and experiences throughout Noblesville all week long.
What started as a single-day festival has blossomed into a monthlong celebration of spring in one of Central Indiana’s most charming downtowns. Visitors can sip, shop, dine, stroll, and explore their way through peony season, with floral brunch installations, live music, a family-friendly Kids Zone, and a Peony Passport scavenger hunt.
Things To Do at The Peony Festival

Historic Seminary Park is the centerpiece of the celebration, filled with peonies, local makers, beautiful photo spots, official festival merchandise, food, and drinks. Guests can browse more than 150 vendors offering cut flowers, plants, handmade goods, art, clothing, décor, treats, beverages, and peony-inspired gifts.
Families will find even more to love this year with an expanded Kids Zone sponsored by Noblesville Boom. Games, activities, and kid-friendly vendor booths will be located near Seminary Park’s brand-new accessible and inclusive playground.
Music will fill the day in multiple spots throughout the festival. At the Seminary Park gazebo, Claire Arrivo performs from 10 a.m. to noon, followed by Zach Day from noon to 4 p.m. Along 9th Street, guests can enjoy Naomi Gray from 10 a.m. to noon, Sean More of Sure Thing! from noon to 2 p.m., and Glenn Seland from 2 to 4 p.m., with Kelli Ray Yates performing in the 9th Street Bistro alley from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Brunch Surrounded By Blooms
Select downtown restaurants will be transformed with immersive floral installations. Beginning as early as Mother’s Day, spaces around the square will come to life with blooms, making brunch feel like part meal, part art installation. Guests can make reservations, gather friends, treat Mom, or plan a floral brunch crawl through downtown. With Noblesville’s DORA district, visitors can also grab a drink to go and stroll between shops, restaurants, and floral displays.
Peony Passport
For a fun way to explore Noblesville, pick up a Peony Passport at Just Lagom Boutique, Noblesville Ace Hardware, or Promenade Trails. The passport guides visitors to more than 15 must-see peony plantings around town, including unique, colorful varieties. Watch for black metal Peony Fest signs at each stop, scan the QR codes to learn about the blooms, and turn the day into a spring scavenger hunt.
Peonies in the Park VIPP Night
For a special night out before the festival, Peonies in the Park returns Friday, May 15. This ticketed evening includes tastings, curated experiences, two drink tickets, and plenty of peony-filled photo moments. Ticket proceeds help support the Indiana Peony Festival, which welcomes more than 32,000 visitors each year and funds continued beautification, expanded peony plantings, and seasonal floral experiences throughout Noblesville.
Peony Days Cream Ale
Peony lovers can also raise a glass to the season at Primeval Brewing. The brewery’s Peony Days Cream Ale is back for May, including a limited-edition can. All month long, 50 cents from every Peony Days Cream Ale sold on draft will be donated back to the Indiana Peony Festival. Festival-goers can enjoy the beer at Peonies in the Park on Friday, May 15, during festival weekend, or at Primeval Brewing during the Brunch & Blooms crawl on Saturday, May 16.
Whether you come for the flowers, the food, the music, the family activities, or the perfect spring photos, the Indiana Peony Festival is a beautiful way to experience Noblesville in full bloom. Bring your camera, make brunch reservations, grab a passport, and plan to spend the day exploring one of Indiana’s prettiest May traditions.
