Indy Indie Book Crawl Returns for a Second Year
Drop what you’re reading, grab your favorite local bookstore tote and plan your route. The Indy Indie Book Crawl is back March 20-23!
The second annual event commences this year with a kickoff party on Wednesday, March 19, 6-9 PM, in collaboration with Silent Book Club Indy, at the Maven Space for silent reading followed by a celebration. Tickets are already sold out for the kickoff party, but you can still check out these bookstores to find your next read!
What is the Indy Indie Book Crawl?
The Indy Indie Book Crawl is a collective effort to create awareness of the amazing independent, or indie, bookstores in the greater Indianapolis area. With 27 participating shops, it's the perfect excuse to explore new book nooks, revisit old favorites, and grow your personal library!
How does it work?
- Grab a Bookmark – Pick up a branded bookmark at any of the 27 participating bookstores to track your progress.
- Plan Your Route – Strategize your bookstore stops and see how many you can visit between March 20-23.
- Earn Stickers & Entries – Each shop you visit earns you a sticker or stamp — and one entry into a prize drawing. (No purchase necessary, but let’s be real, we could all use a few more books on our TBR, right?)
- Support Local – Make an impact in the local economy while snagging great reads!
