Landmarks Along the Indianapolis Cultural Trail
Now through October, the Indianapolis Cultural Trail has partnered with Indiana Landmarks to offer a monthly bike ride. This five-mile tour departs from the Cultural Trail HQ and includes several stops that highlight interesting architecture (here’s looking at you, Murat). Registration is required, and the $45 cost ($40 for Indiana Landmarks members) includes a Pacers Bikeshare e-bike and helmet.
No Spandex Required Rides
No Spandex Rides are a great way for both seasoned riders and biking beginners to explore different greenways, destinations, and neighborhoods. The leisurely group ride is between four and 10 miles and includes a stop at a local brewery. Whether you bring your own bike or borrow a Pacers Bikeshare bike, the tour is free to join. Now that’s something we can raise our glass to.
Bikes & Bakeries Ride
Bikes. Bread. Friends. These monthly rides are the perfect recipe to kick off a Saturday morning. The beginner-friendly tours last about 2.5 hours and include a stop at a local bakery to rest, mingle, and indulge. Like the No Spandex Required Rides, you’re welcome to BYOB (bring your own bike). Just be sure to register ahead of time; spots fill up very quickly!
Roast Rides
These coffee-fueled rides are offered in partnership with Indianapolis Coffee Guide. The rides start at the Orange Bridge on the Downtown Canal and include one to three stops at a local coffee shop.
