5 Places to See Fireworks in Indy
It wouldn’t be the Fourth of July in Indy without seeing downtown skyline light up with booming fireworks.
But that’s not the only place you can catch a show that night. Here are five places where you can see displays in and around the Circle City.
Fourth Fest Downtown
10:15 pm | Downtown Indy
A not-to-miss Fourth of July event takes place right downtown. Launched from atop the 500 North Meridian office building, the 20-minute show will be synced to popular patriotic and themed music aired on local Radio One stations B105.7, 97.1 Hank FM, La Grande 105.1, 106.7 WTLC, and WIBC 93.1 FM.
The best place to catch the action? The grounds of the Indiana War Memorial or American Legion Mall. Come at 6 pm for food trucks, ice cream stands, beverages, and a Kids Zone!
Carmelfest
Noon-10 pm | Civic Square and Carter Green
A Hoosier tradition just north of Indy in Carmel, IN. With two central locations brimming with Independence Day excitement, CarmelFest is back with food trucks, live music, a beer garden, and more for two days of fun ending in unforgettable fireworks. Kicking off the event Wednesday, July 3 from noon-10 pm and going through to Saturday July 4 from Noon-10 pm. Only want to see the fireworks? Come at 9:45 pm!
Symphony On The Prairie
6 Pm Gates Open, 8 Pm Performance Followed By Firework Show | Conner Prairie
Pack a picnic and make your way to Conner Prairie where the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra will perform a patriotic tribute honoring our nation's founding. Central Indiana’s beloved celebration of America returns to Conner Prairie July 2-4, 2026, as the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra performs patriotic favorites with celebrated tenor Jim Cornelison (Chicago Blackhawks, Indy 500), the Indianapolis Opera Chorus, fireworks, cannons, and more.
Marion County Fair Opening Night Celebration

The Marion County Fair will have their annual fireworks show July 3 to commemorate their opening night. Spend your Independence Day enjoying the fair and celebrate the opening night with a dazzling firework display at the end of the day.
City Of Lawrence 4th Fest
10 pm | Lawrence Community Park
Food trucks, parades, games - and of course, fireworks at the end of the day! Arrive at 10 am to experience the entire day or make show up at 10 pm for the fireworks show. Head over to Lawrence, IN, for a community-based celebration to finish out your weekend in Indy.
