The Circle City is teeming with entrepreneurs making an impact Indy's destination appeal. In January 2023, The Mayor’s Office, City-County Council and Visit Indy launched a new initiative to help uncover additional visitor-related businesses to help continue to drive visitors into all neighborhoods across the city. The Visiting All Neighborhoods initiative celebrates artists, storefront owners, business leaders, and restaurateurs - many of whom behind the wheel of women-owned businesses. Meet a few female Indy locals shaking things up in the Circle City.

Women-Owned Businesses in Indy

A coworking and office space, event space, and community center, representing a collective of many businesses and nonprofits who serve the people of the city’s Eastside neighborhood.

The first Black-owned department store in the Circle City Mall, SHE. Event provides Black business with the “SHE. Xperience” to increase their revenue, connect with other creators, and circulate dollars in to the Black community.
