Sign Up For EmailTowering 38-stories tall with 800 rooms, the new Signia by Hilton will build upon Indy's connected hotel package.
Construction has begun on the 143,500-square-foot center expansion, including a 50,000-sq.-ft. ballroom, that will connect to a new 800-room Signia by Hilton, creating an unrivaled convention package. The new property will stand 38 stories tall and will include a top-level bar with skyline views. This project is anticipated to open fall 2026.
Indy already touts the most hotels and hotel rooms connected by enclosed skywalks into a center in the U.S., and this expansion will boost those numbers to 13 properties and 5,500+ hotel rooms all under one roof.
In early June, 2024, the first substantial project update since the development broke ground in August 2023 took place as 800 cement mixers poured concrete for the site.
The pour delivered 7,600 cubic yards of concrete, which would fill two and a half Olympic-sized swimming pools. The concrete is held in place by 1,000 tons of reinforcing bars.
RATIO released updated renderings showcasing both the exterior and interior designs of Signia by Hilton, highlighting its modern aesthetic and luxurious amenities. The outdoor shots emphasize the hotel's sleek facade on the downtown Indianapolis skyline, while the interior images reveal elegant spaces designed for comfort and efficiency.
We invite you to peruse artistically designed floor plans from RATIO, each crafted with meeting planners in mind. From versatile conference rooms to expansive event spaces, the layout of Signia by Hilton ensures seamless functionality for large events.
Level B1 of the Signia by Hilton will include small meetings rooms an a Junior Ballroom, as well as amenities such as a sunken courtyard for the lower level of the lobby and prefunction space.
The main floor of the Signia by Hilton will house a welcoming entry way off Georgia Street, a lobby bar and speakeasy, restaurant, and express elevators to the Sky Lounge.
The second floor of the Signia by Hilton will prove to be the main focal point for large-scale events. Home to the 50,455-sq.-ft. ballroom and the connector to the Indiana Convention Center, the second floor is bordered by ample prefunction space, including a prefunction bar.
The third floor of the Signia by Hilton houses more meeting space with a 9,000-sq.-ft. Signature Ballroom, bookended by prefunction space and the Signia Spa. The terrace of the third level is visible from the fourth level, which holds guestrooms, fitness and back of house spaces.
The top floor of the meeting spaces of Signia by Hilton will be home to the pool deck, event deck, and snack bar. With views of the Indy skyline, including Monument Circle, and the Indiana Convention Center, the fifth level of Signia By Hilton promises to be a coveted venue for meetings and events.
