Hear how Indianapolis went above and beyond for one the most prominent medical meetings in the country, AAO-HNSF and OTOExpo.

In October 2025, Indianapolis had the honor of hosting the Annual Meeting and OTO EXPO of the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery Foundation, also known as AAO HNSF. More than 5,400 otolaryngologists, researchers, and health professionals from across the United States and from more than 75 countries gathered at the Indiana Convention Center for four days of education, collaboration, and scientific discovery.

The meeting brought together an impressive mix of educational sessions, hands-on workshops, scientific posters, and a busy exhibit hall packed with new tools and technologies. It was a place where experts shared ideas, colleagues reconnected, and the ENT community came together to celebrate the work underway in the field.

We met with Dr. Rahul Shah, President of AAO-HNSF, to hear his take on hosting medical meetings in the Circle City.
