Indianapolis Museum Of Art At Newfields

With a collection of more than 54,000 works of art, an early-20th-century estate, 152 acres of gardens and grounds, including an outdoor art and nature park, the Newfields campus offers experiences that feed both the heart and mind.

Eiteljorg Museum Of American Indians & Western Art

The Eiteljorg collects and preserves high-quality Western art and Native American art and cultural objects. Special exhibitions cover diverse subjects, including the artistry and histories of pistols and motorcycles as well as the work of iconic artists Ansel Adams and Georgia O’Keeffe. Year-round events immerse guests in the culture.

Gallery Forty Two

Indianapolis’ oldest-surviving commercial building is home to a collection of local, national, and international contemporary artists presenting unique approaches to classical and traditional themes. Their SECOND FLOOR gallery showcases more modern themes of athletics and popular culture.

Gallery 924

Housed inside the Arts Council of Indianapolis, Gallery 924 is one of Indy’s newest and most popular experiences. With a different show opening every first Friday of the month alongside the Be Indypendent store, 924 is fun to drive by and peer in the windows or to stop in for a quick purchase.

Harrison Center For The Arts

The Harrison Center for the Arts has been a model for revitalization in neighborhoods using the arts. The center features multiple galleries but also addresses community issues using art. Many of Indy’s top artists can be found working in a studio or gallery on any given day. Don’t wait until a First Friday to visit the Harrison Center – it’s guaranteed to be a packed house.

Factory Arts District

The Factory Arts District, located on Indy's near eastside, is home to more than 120 residents, including retail, entertainment, and countless artist studios. Tour on the first Friday of each month and discover the rich history of a building that connects back to Louis Schwitzer who won the very first automotive race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Kuaba Gallery

Kuaba, based in Carmel, exhibits the work of contemporary artists from such countries as Ghana, Zimbabwe, Brazil, and South Africa. The display of beautiful art also creates a wonderful atmosphere for corporate events, wedding receptions, and celebrations.

The Alexander

The Alexander Hotel was built to inspire guests with the power of art. Curated by the Indianapolis Museum of Art, The Alexander boasts many original, commissioned pieces from national and local artists. Each guest room also features an original piece. Long-Sharp Gallery

Located on the first floor of the Conrad Indianapolis, the Long-Sharp Gallery offers the highest quality of 20th century master works. You’ll see works by Andy Warhol, Robert Indiana, Crash, Banksy, Russell Young, William John Kennedy, David Kramer, and more as you explore the luxurious Conrad Indianapolis.

Studio Alchemy

Studio Alchemy LLC is an art gallery and teaching studio specializing in impressionist and abstract acrylic and oil painting. Classes are an experimental mix of therapeutic techniques offered in a nurturing and caring environment. Learn to use painting to express yourself and find your voice.

Athenaeum Artspace

The ArtSpace at the Athenaeum is a monthly rotating gallery of exhibits open to the public located on the second floor lobby of the Athenaeum Theatre on Mass Ave. Located on the ultra-trendy Mass Ave, The ArtSpace exhibits range from independent artists to group shows.

Fine Estate Art

There are two goals at Fine Estate Art: dealing in vintage Indiana art and sharing information about Indiana artists via the largest, free, online knowledge base pertaining to Indiana artists and their art. Indiana is unusually gifted in producing, nurturing, and inspiring great artists. Some areas covered include Hoosier Group, Brown County, Hoosier Salon, Richmond School, Nineteenth Century Indiana Landscapes and Portraits, Southern Indiana Art, and Indiana Dunes.
