Overview
Angel White is a fifth-generation Texas cowboy, beekeeper, and singer/songwriter who blends folk, country, soul, and rock into a sound that reflects the vast landscapes of his upbringing and the untamed spirit of the West.
His debut album, GHOST OF THE WEST: THE ALBUM, takes listeners on a journey through soulful melodies and introspective storytelling inspired by his hometown of Cleburne, TX, where his roots run deep with a family lineage of cowboys and a century-old tradition of raising horses.
After years busking in Deep Ellum, Texas, White discovered the power of his voice and began crafting narrative-driven songs. Throughout the album, he pays homage to the often-erased stories of Mexican, Black, and Native cowboys—historical figures unjustly sidelined from both history books and pop culture's depiction of the American West.
White has toured with Marcus King, Shane Smith and the Saints, Flatland Cavalry, Whiskey Myers, Midland, Kaitlin Butts, Paul Cauthen, Shakey Graves, and Josh Abbott Band, and has played major festivals including ACL, Stagecoach, Bonnaroo, CMA Fest, and SXSW.
