Taste the Difference Festival is back for its 18th year and its bigger and better than ever with over 25 restaurants, vendors, and performances! Plus, you asked for it, a cash bar!
Centering the great food in the International Marketplace the Taste the Difference Festival will offer you the opportunity to sample the dishes of over 25 area restaurants including favorites like Al Rayan, Pagoda Buffet, and Abyssinia as well as new restaurants like Everest Momo, JJ’s Fish & Chicken, and Smokey Waters.
Be entertained while you eat with performances every 30 minutes from cultural dance groups, including the Indianapolis Chinese Performing Arts, Inc, Grupo Folklorico Macehuani, Okinawa Yuyukai, and performing at the Taste for the first time, HOZA Troupe Dancers.
Support local artists and cultural organizations when the doors to the Global Village open at noon. Additionally, explore the Latino Heritage Exhibit and the Africa Through My Eyes exhibition while you wait for the tasting to begin at 1pm.
