Overview
One of Indy's major neighborhood festivals with live entertainment, artisan booths, raffles, a children's area, mass in French (5:30 pm), tours of the historic church, children's games (until 5 pm) and an array of French and American cuisine to celebrate the feast day of St. Joan of Arc.
The free festival, which started as a Sunday afternoon family picnic, has evolved into an exciting street fair. As always, live music will fill the air.
Food offerings include mussels, tarte flambe, quiche, crab cakes, escargot, oysters, ratatouille, seafood bisque, french bread with herb butter, cheese, fruit, seafood crepes, quiche Lorraine, rotisserie chicken, beef bourguignon, BBQ ribs and rib tips, crawfish etouffee, french dip roast beef, provencal chicken sandwich, pommes frites, macarons, beignets, cream puffs, chocolate eclairs, madeleines, chocolate mousse, cheesecake, and more.
Dozens of artisans will be setting up booths adjacent to the church grounds selling artwork, jewelry, apparel, woodworking, soaps, and religious items.
