Indiana's magical run in last year's playoffs culminated in the franchise's second Finals appearance, where the Blue & Gold pushed the eventual champion Thunder in a highly competitive seven-game series.
As reigning Eastern Conference champions, the Pacers are getting a much-deserved marquee matchup to tip off the new season, but it will be a stiff test against the defending NBA champs. While it will be the season opener for the Pacers, the Thunder will be playing their second game of the season after hosting Houston two nights earlier.
