Celebrate Halloween with this unique presentation of the gothic horror classic Nosferatu! Organist Donnie Rankin performs the soundtrack live on the Hilbert Circle Theatre’s Mighty Wurlitzer organ as director F. W. Murnau’s 1922 film is shown on screen in glorious black and white. Presented in collaboration with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra Association and the Central Indiana Chapter of the American Theatre Organ Society, the performance will chill and thrill you!
Adapted from Bram Stoker’s iconic Dracula, Nosferatu follows the tragic tale of a young clerk who is summoned to a bloodthirsty vampire’s faraway castle. He quickly becomes entangled in a terrifying plot that threatens his peaceful marriage and reveals the danger lurking in the shadows.
Seating for this event is general admission. Doors open at 6 pm and show starts at 7 pm. This event will have a 20-minute intermission.
