This new music series aims to bring high-quality live music Broad Ripple Park, highlighting it as a destination for arts, community, and entertainment.
Modeled after the successful Rock the Ruins series at Holliday Park, the Broad Ripple Park music weekend is expected to attract a wide audience and provide a positive economic boost to the Broad Ripple area. “We’re excited to support this concert series in Broad Ripple, solidifying our Village as a hub for arts and community," said Jordan Dillon, BRVA Executive Director.
Councillor John Barth shared his support saying, “It’s an opportunity to elevate the Village as a destination for both residents and visitors. This will build on the park’s master plan which includes live music as part of its vision - bringing new energy to Broad Ripple.”
On Friday, August 8, catch Toad The Wet Sprocket and Semisonic with special guest Sixpence None the Richer.
On Saturday, August 9, fans can experience an unforgettable night of storytelling and southern rock with Drive-By Truckers and Deer Tick headlining the evening. Thelma and the Sleaze are opening. “Our goal is to create high-quality live music experiences in Indy,” said Jenny Boyts, CEO of Forty5. “We’re deeply committed to Broad Ripple and believe this series - with bands like these - will help make live music a long-term part of the neighborhood.”
