Overview
Indonesian-American couple Aji and Putri Wisanggeni began by making a plate of home-cooked Indonesian food for a friend, which then elevated to a ghost kitchen operation and now a brick-and-mortar restaurant. The menu reflects Putri's mixed-province upbringing, marrying several regional Indonesian cuisines. The freshness of the spices they use (many are ground in-house) takes flavors to a new level with an ever-expanding menu offering traditional dishes like beef rendang simmered in coconut milk or fried duck with rice and homemade sambal. Diners won't regret ordering the fried rice or trying a variety of dishes with street food–style small plates.
