Dwayne Gibson, affectionately known as ‘Gip’ was born and raised in Indianapolis Gip graduated from the Second Helping Culinary Program, industry working for some of the largest upscale/5-star hotels and country clubs and 15 years of catering experience.
Gip's passion for bringing back the family gathering feel and his talent for providing consistent, perfectly seasoned
smoked meats quickly went from a backyard BBQ hustle in January, 2020, to a thriving family owned and operated carry-out
restaurant in November 2021.
