Past and present meet to create an immersive and captivating experience in this stunning art gallery located in downtown Indianapolis’ oldest-surviving commercial building. Offering more than three thousand square-feet of gallery and event space, our new renovation honors both the legacy of this historical property and the fine art traditions of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
Gallery Forty-Two’s repertoire of well-established local, national and international contemporary artists presents unique approaches to classical and traditional themes. We are committed to providing the discerning art collector an excellent source of original paintings, giclee prints and sculptures that combine the brilliance of inspiration with the spirit of antiquity.
Our niche gallery, SECOND FLOOR at Gallery Forty-Two, is housed within the same building and features vibrant works by contemporary artists celebrating athletics and entertainment.
