Irvington Ghost Tours

You haven’t experienced a true ghost tour until you’ve visited the Irvington Neighborhood that is known for its haunted tales. One of Indianapolis' most established ghost tours, now in its 23rd year, explores the Historic Irvington neighborhood on the east side, known as the most haunted area in Indianapolis. Take a 1.5-mile spine-tingling stroll through Irvington’s streets and soak up the history and ghouls.

Tours are scheduled throughout October 2025 on:

October 3rd and 4th
October 10th and 11th
October 17th and 18th
October 24th and 25th

All tours begin at 7:00 PM at the Irving Theatre, 5505 East Washington Street.

On this guided walking tour, you’ll wander through Indianapolis’s downtown Theatre District. Along the way, you’ll hear about the life and murder of Dr. Helene Knabe, Cockroach Row and Jolly Werner, as well as visit haunted landmarks like the Athenaeum.
