Indy Named Best Places to Go in the U.S. in 2026 by Condé Nast Traveler

Condé Nast Traveler recently dropped its story, “The Best Places to Go in the U.S. in 2026.” For retro road trips, outdoorsy getaways, and citywide revivals, Indianapolis was named one of the 14 Best Places to Go in the U.S. in 2026.

With next year marking one of America’s biggest milestones, the nation’s 250th anniversary, this recognition is huge news for the Circle City. The article highlights Indy’s historic cleanup of the White River and the rollout of 38 miles of new trails and bike lanes.

In addition to Indy’s expanding outdoor spaces, the story spotlights the new and enhanced Factory Arts District, which features fresh retail concepts like Salt & Ash, the new restaurant Daisy Bar, and events such as First Fridays, where visitors can enjoy live music, dancing, and interactive workshops.
