Tuttle Orchards
A classic stop for Indy-area families, and just around 25 minutes east of the city, Tuttle Orchards in Greenfield is packed with fun. Your family can explore the u-pick orchard, pumpkin patch, and flower fields, hop aboard a hayride, and burn off energy in their play area. Tuttle’s apple cider donuts are legendary, and their market is the perfect spot to grab local jams, produce, and snacks to take home. You can also indulge in farm-to-table meals and sweet treats from their café, sweet shop, and grill.
Spencer Farm
Located in Noblesville, about 30 minutes north of downtown Indy, Spencer Farm is a charming, family-friendly destination with something for everyone. In the fall, visitors can pick apples, raspberries, and pumpkins, stroll through the scenic farm, and stock up on treats in the market. Whether you’re picking pumpkins or sampling fudge, it’s a fall tradition worth making.
Pleasant View Orchard
About 30 minutes southeast of Indy, you’ll find Pleasant View Orchard in Fairland. Your family will love picking their own apples from the large variety available, but you may have trouble deciding which local food and produce items to take home from their country store and which treats to try at their concession stand. The warm apple cobbler, caramel apple fondue, elephant ears, and cider slushies all hit the spot.
Anderson Orchard
Anderson Orchard in Mooresville is about 30 minutes southwest of Indy, and here you’ll find rows of apple trees ready for picking and stunning hilltop views of the countryside. It’s a great spot to relax, take photos, and snack on some fresh treats from their Apple Barn or concession stand. Their caramel apples and fried biscuits served with Anderson Orchard apple butter are both fan favorites.
Beasley’s Orchard
Around 40 minutes west of downtown, Beasley’s Orchard in Danville offers a full fall festival experience, complete with hayrides, a corn maze, and many other fun activities. They also offer u-pick apples and pumpkins, and their market has a wide variety of homegrown and homemade produce and baked goods. Whatever you decide to do during your visit, just make sure you don’t sleep on their award-winning apple cider!
Stuckey Farm
Just north of Indy in Sheridan, Stuckey Farm is packed with classic fall fun. With over 37 varieties of apples to pick, giant corn maze, and a 10-acre pumpkin patch, there’s plenty to explore. Kids will love the activities in their Adventure Acres area, while grown-ups can browse the market for local goodies and fresh apple cider. Don’t forget to grab a warm cider donut before you go!
