Get ready for your life to be changed for good. With Wicked: Part Two hitting theaters on November 21, we’re turning our sights to Ozdust and prepping to be Dancing Through Life. To get in the spirit, here are eight spots around Indy that make you feel like you’ve stepped into the Emerald City.

Cake Bake Shop

If there were one place where Glinda would land in her bubble, it’s the Cake Bake Shop. With locations in Broad Ripple and Carmel, this charming pink bakery is a must-see. The seasonal decor, from Halloween to the holidays, is nothing short of mesmerizing, and you’ll find yourself taking all the photos. Pro tip: the red velvet cake is life changing.

Fountain Room

Elphaba would feel right at home at the Fountain Room with its lush greenery, gold-accented walls and elevated décor. Located in the Bottleworks District, this stylish 1902-inspired restaurant has been recognized by OpenTable and People as one of America’s 50 Most Beautiful Restaurants. The top dishes? Their Brie Brûlée and the world-class steaks.

Hotel Tango Distillery

With its moody lighting and exposed brick, Hotel Tango Distillery reminds me of the moment when Elphaba finds Doctor Dillamond hidden away and starts singing “Something Bad.” This cozy space features a fireplace and cocktails that serve up smoky, bold flavors, just like Elphaba’s personality.

Cultural Trail

Not quite the Yellow Brick Road, but the Indianapolis Cultural Trail will lead you through so many paths across the city. Named “the biggest and boldest step by an American city” by Project for Public Spaces, this internationally acclaimed 10.6 mile trail connects all six of Indy’s cultural districts. From Mass Ave through White River State Park to Fountain Square, it’s a safe, healthy, and convenient way to explore the city.

There's a reason why this local coffee shop is Popular. With locations in Fountain Square and the Carmel Arts District, this Italian-inspired cafe showcases a beautiful atmosphere with pops of pink and lush greenery. Their most popular drink?
