CATS & DOGS - THE EXHIBITION

This new exhibit at the Indiana State Museum is paw-some and un-fur-gettable. Through September 27, learn your pet's perspective on the world through this multi-sensory experience. Discover why all dogs (Alaskan Malamute to Yorkshire Terrier) get the zoomies, understand the body language your cat uses to communicate, and see how well you can navigate an agility course. Dispel common myths and learn valuable ways to improve your relationship with your pet. Admission is $5 and up.

SONSIO GRAND PRIX AT INDIANAPOLIS MOTOR SPEEDWAY

The track is ready and the drivers are revved up for a thrilling competition on the 2.439-mile road course. Friday is practice and Saturday is race day as cars complete 90 laps with tight corners, fast straightaways, strategic pit stops, and the opportunity to meet the drivers in a more relaxed atmosphere. Watch for talent like Alex Palou, Pato O'Ward, Scott Dixon, and Will Power. Tickets are $25 and up.

MECUM SPRING CLASSIC CAR AUCTION

With more than 2,500 vehicles, featuring 28 private collections, Mecum always satisfies any auto fan's need to see rare and iconic rides. European sports cars, modern hypercars, solid American muscle cars, motorcycles, collectible road art, and more will cross the auction block through May 16 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds and Event Center. Highlights include a 1963 Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spyder, a 1995 Bugatti EB110 Super Sport, a Sassy Grass Green 1970 Plymouth Road Runner Coupe, a 1991 Ferrari F40, and a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. Admission is $30 and up.

ASIAN FEST AT INDIANA HISTORICAL SOCIETY

Saturday's free, family-friendly cultural festival celebrates Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month. Experience the rich and diverse Asian lifestyles though dance, music, martial arts demonstrations, authentic cuisine, games, henna, a health fair, exhibits, and interactive crafts. Discover the connections that unite us.

POPCON INDY

One of the Midwest’s largest pop culture conventions, PopCon celebrates everything: comics, gaming, anime, movies, TV, cosplay, sci-fi, fantasy, and internet culture. Play board and video games, have VR experiences, catch live performances, shop vendors and artists for one-of-a-kind collectibles, attend panels and Q&As, and meet guests who are actors, voice talent, and creators. Collect their autographs and snap photos at the Indiana Convention Center Friday-Sunday to satisfy your fandom. Tickets are $41 and up.
