SUBMISSION CRITERIA

Events should be open to the general public, be entertainment-based and generally fall under the following categories: dance, festivals, food & drink, film & literature, free events, history & heritage, kids & families, museums, music (including concerts), comedy, science & nature, sports & fitness, and visual arts.

Note: Events that are invitation only, fundraising galas or benefits, retreats, classes, or camps are generally not included.

All events will be reviewed and, if accepted, posted within 2 weeks. Visit Indy reserves the right to accept or reject events at its discretion.

SUBMISSION TIPS

  • Submit your event as soon as you have information. Our database can hold event information years out.
  • Send event press releases and any questions to events@VisitIndy.com
  • Submit a .jpeg photo with your event. Ideal size is 750x422 or larger. Anything smaller may not be displayed. Try to avoid excessive typography or logos on top of the image.

Please note: Your event will not automatically be added to the calendar once you click "Submit Event" at the bottom of the form. It will first go through an approval process to make sure that it contains all the information needed to be added.
